Performance features designed to deliver an adrenaline-pumping experience
Under the hood of the 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo is a 3.7-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder horizontally opposed engine with VTG. This engine uses exhaust manifolds inspired by the 911 GT2 RS to help improve response time and efficiency. Additionally, the charge-air cooling and engine air intake have been redesigned to improve air flow, therefore, creating more power. With these upgrades, this engine reaches 572 horsepower in the 911 Turbo and 640 hp in the 911 Turbo S.
When taking this model on the track, you’ll also witness the power that this engine provides. On the track, the 911 Turbo accelerates from 0-60 mph in approximately 2.7 seconds while the 911 Turbo S reaches 60 mph in 2.6 seconds. When racing the 0.25-mile, the 911 Turbo completes it in 10.8 seconds and the 911 Turbo S completes it in 10.5 seconds. The 911 Turbo can achieve a top track speed of 199 mph, while the 911 Turbo S can reach 205 mph.
Paired with this powerful engine is a revamped 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK). This updated PDK allows you to shift gears quickly without interrupting the power flow. All Porsche 911 Turbo models come standard with the Sport Chrono Package. This package allows you to enjoy an even sportier driving experience, have access to a tire temperature display, and appreciate the Porsche Track Precision app. On the steering wheel is a Sport Response button that lets you switch between five drive modes: Normal, Sport, Sport Plus, Individual, and Wet mode.
