Everyone knows the Porsche 911 moniker. However, the Porsche brand continues to bring forth unique design schemes to the model – such as the Targa Heritage Design Edition. As an ultra-modern Porsche 911, its design makes callbacks to the 550 and 356 models on top of the first Targa models in the 1960’s. Meanwhile, an entire section of its name – “Targa” – means ‘shield,’ meant to represent its five Targa Florio victories in the mid-1950s and 60s.
