While times may be difficult, Porsche is responding by taking certain measure to alleviate some pressure Porsche owners may be feeling. To help, Porsche is extending new car warranties by three months for warranties expiring between March 1 and May 31. Keep reading to learn more.
As a way to continue to help Porsche customers, the company has decided to extend warranties by three months for those who have new vehicles or whose expiration date was drawing near. This means if someone’s expiration date was on March 20, 2020, the extension would go until June 20, 2020. Customers do not need to do anything, and the dates will be changed automatically. The car warranty will always be valid for a minimum of two years and starts the day a customer receives the vehicle.
When the pandemic started, all Porsche plants were shut down. Since then, they have started back up on May 4, 2020. Due to the lack of production, customers should expect a lag with delivery dates but once operations are back to normal, delivery dates will soon be specified. Due to special precautions, it may take some time before the workforce reaches full capacity, but Porsche is working diligently to ensure it takes the shortest time possible.
